How it Works
Remarkable Energy’s transformative recycling process uses Thermal Catalytic Technology (TCT) to reverse-engineer mixed waste plastic into high-value products.
Made from oil, plastic has revolutionised the way we live in modern society, but the inability to economically and sustainably reuse plastic means that it has become a global pollutant.
Remarkable Energy’s recycling process competitively surpasses existing ‘chemical’ or ‘advanced’ recycling technologies such as Pyrolysis, Fischer-Trophsch and Incineration. Our proprietary approach uses Thermal Catalytic Technology (TCT) and is a low energy process which combines efficient gasification and catalyst chemistry to recycle waste plastic into high-value products. It is a continuous process with a high conversion rate and reliable output. Its modular and transportable design reduces the high emissions associated with long-distance waste transportation associated with existing recycling plants.
Our Recycling Process
Remarkable Energy’s Thermal Catalytic Technology (TCT) recycles mixed waste plastic into value-added products through a process which combines efficient gassification and catalyst chemistry.
Recycled Product Range
Remarkable Energy’s Thermal Catalytic Technology combines a continuous and efficient gasification process and catalytic chemistry to recycle mixed waste plastic. This means we achieve predictable and reliable outputs to deliver a range of products made from recycled plastic.
Why Remarkable Energy?
We are an enabler of the circular economy, helping to get more sustainable recycled plastic feedstock into future plastic production, rather than using fossil fuels.
Our transformative technological approach, avoids the large equipment, high energy inputs, high operating costs, long leadtimes and high emissions of other technologies.
Our recycling process delivers products with a wide range of commercial applications, extending the impact of our disruptive technology across different types of products.
Our technology uses modular units that can be scaled-up for large-scale sites, built at waste facilities, and deployed to small sites where problem waste needs to be tackled.
Our large product range opens-up varied commercial partnership models for a widespread, acclerated roll-out of our technology.
We are a UK-based business eligible for grants and subsidies from the UK government who are backing technologies that help achieve net-zero by 2050.
